Where your scholar’s next journey begins.

ThrivePoint Academy is a private post-secondary vocational institute for high-functioning young adults ages 18 to 26+. We serve three populations who have been consistently underserved by every existing post-secondary option in Western Washington:

• Young adults with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) whose capability far exceeds what available programs have ever asked of them.

• Traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors whose vocational trajectory was disrupted by acquired neurological injury and who need a structured, low-arousal professional environment to rebuild independence.

• Neurodivergent young adults aging out of the foster care system, with trusts, structured settlements, or funded placements, who have been labeled and managed by every institution they have encountered and who deserve to be seen as the capable people they are.

We are currently in our pre-opening phase, preparing for our inaugural year in University Place, Washington. If you are a family navigating the post-secondary transition, a clinical or legal professional seeking a resource for your clients, or a community partner who wants to know what we are building, we welcome an introduction.

A 5-year vocational residency built around three professional Guild tracks.
